Murchison Project

3.2 GW electrolyzer
6 GW onshore wind and solar power
1.9m tonnes of green ammonia
Expected annual production

Murchison is a large scale Power-to-x project utilising combined onshore

wind and solar energy to produce green ammonia via a Haber-Bosch loop.

The entire project comprises ~ 6.0 GW generation capacity and

an electrolyser of ~3.2 GW capacity to produce ~1,9 million tonnes of green

ammonia annually. The project is expected to be built in multiple phases.

Murchison is based in Western Australia, offering world class renewable

sources and access to the sea, which makes it ideal for an export Power-to

X project.
