About CI-ETF I

Nordø headquarters

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), is a global leader in renewable energy investments and makes significant and meaningful contributions to the green transition. CIP currently manages 13 funds, including the CI ETF I, which is the largest dedicated clean hydrogen fund globally.

It invests in next generation renewable energy infrastructure including industrial scale Power-to-X (PtX) projects and enables institutional investors to participate in the decarbonization of the so-called hard to abate industries such as shipping, steel production, and agriculture through the use of green fuels and feedstock and CO2-free fertilize.

To deliver on the CI-ETF I’s hydrogen strategy and broader decarbonisation plans, the fund has established a portfolio of of ~10 GW of electrolyser capacity projects, ranging from large multi-GW export projects to fully integrated energy systems servicing domestic demand in its base case portfolio. CI-ETF I's product portfolio ranges from green hydrogen, to green and blue ammonia and E-SAF.

On this website, our clean ammonia portfolio can be found, as green marine fuels to support the decarbonization of shipping is a key priority of ETF I. More information on our hydrogen and E-SAF projects can be found on the Energy Transition fund website.
